Absolutely loved my visit to Bite into Maine! I ordered the lobster flight and was blown away by how delicious each roll was. Every style had its own unique flavor, but the Connecticut lobster roll completely stole the show for me — hands down, possibly the best lobster roll I’ve ever had in my life. The warm lobster drenched in butter, poured right in front of you at the table, is a touch that takes the experience to the next level. The restaurant itself is clean, inviting, and has a great vibe. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing — just really nice people who clearly care about what they’re doing. This place is a must-visit if you're a lobster lover (or even if you're not... you might be after). Can't wait to come back!

I was looking for a good lobster roll and I found three! I had the Maine, Picnic, and Chipotle rolls. They were subtle in flavor, but so unique and delicious that before I knew it they were gone. Janet and the rest of the team were so warm and friendly and helpful! If you are from out of town, definitely make this a spot to try.

We were visiting Portland ME and stopped by for lunch. This place is small but very popular. Food is fresh and extremely delicious. Ordered Lobster Grilled cheese and Clam Chowder. So so good. Service is fast and staff is friendly. 10/10 for this seafood restaurant

Great lobster roll place. they offer different types of rolls as well as yummy Mac and cheese! The soup is so good, with enough chunks of lobster meat to leave you satisfied. Recommended place to go to when in Portland. The staff is very friendly and full of smiles.

The food was really good and came out fast. We got mac and cheese (with and without lobster). Clam chowder, pulled pork, grilled cheese, and the coleslaw were all good. We ordered a bit of everything and shared it. Wish I had pictures of the food, but it was gone fast.

I went when they 1st opened. The lady in front was so sweet. She had everything packed so perfect for me to take back to Ellsworth. The food was amazing, and she was so great at answering all my questions as it was my 1st time there. I hate I didn't get her name. She was quite young, with dark hair and big smile. Tell her I said thank you again! She is the perfect face to see when you walk in hungry!! Her menu knowledge was on point, and she was so helpful! The restaurant is cute and clean. The blueberry soda was the best choice like she said!!

First time here! Typically I've had Bite Into Maine through their food truck outside Allagash brewing. This more permanent location was an awesome meal during our trip to Portland. We did the trio of mini lobster rolls a hot dog. Everything was fresh, delicious, and out of this world. Absolutely will be having more Bite Into Maine (either here or at Allagash.)

Solid spot for lobster rolls with unique flavors. Came here for a quick bite before dinner. Unlike most of the touristy spots in the Old Port area that offer either cold mayo or hot butter lobster rolls, they had a lot more options. However, like many Maine spots I’ve tried, the seasoning was extremely restrained. So the variations felt more conceptual than impactful. No doubt about the quality tho. Extremely fresh lobster meat with a perfectly bouncy texture. But most of the seasoning barely registered. Even the curry mayo roll had only the faintest hint of spice, hiding somewhere in the background. The classic Maine roll (chives & cold mayo) ended up being the best. Still, trying 3 variations for just 30 was nice.
